Associate Producer/Field Reporter Summer 2000-Present

The Sportsline, WLNI Radio

Coordinate the production of a live Sports Talk radio program. Screen callers and prep guests. Perform research tasks for the hosts. Assist in the set-up and execution of remote broadcasts. Cover local and national sporting events, conduct interviews and edit those interviews for broadcast with digital editing software. Promote expansion of The Sportsline into new markets, as well as increased overall ratings for the program.

 
Writer/Senior Associate Producer Fall 1999-Present

God Squad Productions

Facilitate the production of “Father Harry”: a series of short radio programs, currently carried by over 800 radio stations in the United States and abroad. Create and maintain the format manuals that are used to train new GSP producers. Construct original scripts, revise existing scripts, and acquire music and sound effects to be used when the programs are produced. Streamline the music acquisition process, allowing for faster and more economical script production.

 
Contributing Writer Summer 2005

PARANOIA XP, Mongoose Publishing

Worked with a team of writers to create a line of psychological roleplaying products. Created original material and assisted in editing material contributed by other members of the team.



Marketing Consultant 2001-2003

Spectre Camouflage Designs

Collaborated with the owner of a camouflage design company to help establish his business as a leading producer of custom concealment systems. Wrote product descriptions and promotional copy for catalogs, pamphlets and the company web site.

 
Production Director 1998-1999

WSRN-FM

Produced promo spots for local events. Maintained the station’s recording studio and editing computer. Trained DJs to use the facility.

Bachelor of Arts in Theater Studies May 1999

Coursework included an emphasis on Playwriting and Directing.


Skills and Abilities

Experienced in audio editing, sound design, digital music production and digital photography (credits available upon request). Proficient in Pro Tools, Reason and Adobe Photoshop. Possess strong and versatile writing/editing skills. Command a deep knowledge of popular music. Play a wide range of musical instruments, including guitar, bass guitar and theremin. Enthusiastic about working both independently and within a team dynamic.
